NFL Football

Packers (-1.5) @ Lions   (Sunday / 12pm CT / FOX)

  • Green Bay is 8-1 ATS in Detroit in the last 9 years
  • Lions are giving up 5.3 rushing yds per carry, and 6.9 yds per pass attempt – Green Bay will be able to move the football
  • Packers are +1 in turnover margin, and the Lions are -4

Rams @ Seattle (+7.5)   (Sunday / 3:25pm CT / FOX)

  • Seattle is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 home games as an underdog
  • there is a TON of hype on the Rams right now, and teams generally dip at some point

Cardinals @ 49ers (-4.5)   (Sunday / 3:25pm CT / FOX)

  • Yes, Jimmy G is out… but CJ Breathard is actually pretty good.  He was the starter for quite a while last year.
  • 49ers can actually run the ball – averaging 133 rushing yds per game and 5.2 ypc
  • Cardinals are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 as a road dog – the only 2 covers were against Seattle

Broncos @ Jets (-1)   (Sunday / 12pm CT / CBS)

  • since 2016, the Broncos are 6-12 ATS after a loss, and 4-8 ATS as a road underdog
  • Denver has to travel East for a noon game on a short week
  • the Jets running game will be able to open up the passing game a bit for Sam Darnold
  • close game, but I think the Jets pull this one out

Titans (-3) @ Bills   (Sunday / 12pm CT / CBS)

  • since 2016, the Bills are 2-5 ATS as a home underdog
  • Tennessee is 3-1 ATS this season, and Buffalo is 1-3 – bettors are still not sold on the Titans
  • Buffalo’s offense only averages 4.0 yds per play… take out the inexplicable 27-6 win at Minnesota, the Bills are averaging only 7.67 pts per game
  • Titans won’t have to score much to be able to cover this line

Gary Segars

Gary began his first website in 1998 as a sophomore in high school, writing reviews of cds and live shows in the Memphis area. He became editor of his college newspaper, then moved towards a career in music. He started the infamous MemphisTider.com blog during the 2006 football season, and was lucky enough to get into blogging just before the coaching search that landed Nick Saban at Alabama. The month and a half long coaching search netted his site, which was known for tracking airplanes, over 1 million hits in less than 90 days. The website introduced Gary to tons of new friends, including Nico and Todd, who had just started the site RollBamaRoll.com.After diving into more than just Alabama news, Gary started up his first installment of WinningCuresEverything.com in 2012. After keeping the site quiet for a while, it was started back up in April 2016. Gary then joined forces with high school friend Chris Giannini and began a podcast during the 2016 football season that runs at least 2 times a week, focusing on college football, NFL football, and sports wagering, and diving into other sports and pop-culture topics.E-mail: gary@winningcureseverything.com Twitter: @GaryWCE
