If they played in the Big 12, would College Football’s 2017 Top 5 defense still be Top 5?

Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley told Danny Kannel that Georgia wouldn’t be a top 5 defense if they played in the Big 12.  Well, first off, Georgia finished #6 in both total and scoring defense.  But the question remains: Would any top 5 defense (either scoring or total) from last season still be a top 5 defense if they were in the Big 12?

After keeping the site quiet for a while, it was started back up in April 2016. Gary then joined forces with high school friend Chris Giannini and began a podcast during the 2016 football season that runs at least 2 times a week, focusing on college football, NFL football, and sports wagering, and diving into other sports and pop-culture topics.E-mail: gary@winningcureseverything.com Twitter: @GaryWCE
