Spring College Football games, Final Four matchups, and NBA talk about Grizzlies, MVP, the Cavs chances to win the East & what playoffs would look like with no conferences

College Football Podcast

Gary and Chris kick things off by discussing this weekend’s most interesting spring football games and what to watch for, who will be the surprise of this weekend’s Final Four and what lines you should bet for the best odds, and then close with NBA talk regarding the frustrating Memphis Grizzlies, who should be the NBA’s MVP this year, whether or not the triple-double stat means as much as it used to (since Steph Curry broke the game of basketball), whether or not the Cavs should be worried about losing the Eastern conference, and they discuss whether the NBA should do away with conferences, while taking a look at the interesting playoff matchups that would happen right now if there were not an Eastern & Western conference.

About Gary Segars 226 Articles
Gary Segars began his first website, Manipulate Memphis, in 1998 as a sophomore in high school, writing reviews of cds and live shows in the Memphis area. He graduated and went on Northwest Community College as a journalism major, became editor of the college's newspaper, and subsequently dropped out after 3 semesters to pursue a career in music. Forever a fan of writing, he started the infamous MemphisTider.com blog during the 2006 football season, while still pursuing a music career, and was lucky enough to get into blogging just before the coaching search that landed Nick Saban at Alabama. The month and a half long search netted his site, which was known for tracking airplanes, and finding as much message board information as possible about the coaching search, over 1 million hits in less than 90 days. The website introduced Gary to tons of new friends, including Nico and Todd, who had just started the site RollBamaRoll.com. After diving into more than just Alabama news, Gary started up his first installment of WinningCuresEverything.com in 2012. After keeping the site quiet for a while, it was started back up in April 2016, and then Gary joined forces with his old high school friend Chris Giannini and began a podcast during the 2016 football season that runs at least 2 times a week, focusing on college football, NFL football, and sports wagering, and diving into other sports and pop-culture topics.
