Winning Cures Everything: Episode 94 – McGregor vs Mayweather details, Louisville NCAA sanctions, Warriors parade, Coach O vs Satellite camps, and more.

Chris and Gary kick off Friday’s show by first announcing that next Tuesday, June 20th, they’ll be welcoming in Bruse Loyd, attorney for former Ole Miss staffer Barney Farrar.

From there, the two jump directly into the announcement of the Conor McGregor / Floyd Mayweather fight. Breakdowns of the fight, the money involved, the history behind it, and more.

Louisville was handed their penalties by the NCAA, and Gary and Chris discuss the differences between their case and the Ole Miss vs NCAA case coming up this fall, detailing what it could mean for Hugh Freeze, Barney Farrar, and more.

To close out, the guys touch on some different topics:
– Mike Brown inviting Too Short to the Warriors championship parade
– Ed Orgeron and LSU pressuring satellite camps to not allow Texas into Louisiana
– Chris Holtmann leaving Butler for Ohio St, and his first move as head coach
– a blimp caught fire and crashed at the US Open… how do you eject from those things, who pilots a blimp, and what would you do if you witnessed that?

About Gary Segars 226 Articles
Gary Segars began his first website, Manipulate Memphis, in 1998 as a sophomore in high school, writing reviews of cds and live shows in the Memphis area. He graduated and went on Northwest Community College as a journalism major, became editor of the college's newspaper, and subsequently dropped out after 3 semesters to pursue a career in music. Forever a fan of writing, he started the infamous MemphisTider.com blog during the 2006 football season, while still pursuing a music career, and was lucky enough to get into blogging just before the coaching search that landed Nick Saban at Alabama. The month and a half long search netted his site, which was known for tracking airplanes, and finding as much message board information as possible about the coaching search, over 1 million hits in less than 90 days. The website introduced Gary to tons of new friends, including Nico and Todd, who had just started the site RollBamaRoll.com. After diving into more than just Alabama news, Gary started up his first installment of WinningCuresEverything.com in 2012. After keeping the site quiet for a while, it was started back up in April 2016, and then Gary joined forces with his old high school friend Chris Giannini and began a podcast during the 2016 football season that runs at least 2 times a week, focusing on college football, NFL football, and sports wagering, and diving into other sports and pop-culture topics.
